Our Team
Greg Willmott
Greg graduated from McMaster University in 1986 with an MBA in Finance and Accounting. He has over 20+ years experience in the banking, marketing, and finance industry. Greg has worked with many financial institutions on behalf of companies to analyze, review their business plan, and then negotiate primary, secondary, and mezzanine financing such as a $70 million real estate project in Montreal.
Greg has successfully negotiated Forbearance Agreements for companies where the lender has demanded payment of the line of credit or loan.
Greg also represents groups of investors who are interested in purchasing a business. He has completed a detailed outline of the acquisition, recommended a proposed ownership structure, prepared the financing request, and handled the negotiations. Greg has just completed a $20 million purchase of a business in receivership and successfully completed the negotiations with the Receiver.
Mike Willmott
After studying accounting at Conestoga College, Mike continues to show a commitment to education by currently pursuing his CGA designation. Since finishing at Conestoga College in 2004, he has since gone on to work for two large global companies; one in the automotive industry and one in the hi-tech electronics industry.
Mike has successfully managed accounts payable and receivable of over $20 million each, and was able to help reduce the average collection period of one client from 65 days, down to the current 35 days. He has implemented up to date electronic data systems and policies to account for over $100 million in capital assets. Mike also has established bar code, Kanban, and electronic means of accounting for $30 million in inventory in both the manufacturing and retail industries. He has worked in Just in Time environment, as well as the traditional stock inventory environment.
Mike is proficient in many different software packages including Microsoft office (excel, work, access, etc.), Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, JDE (JD Edwards), as well as many private software packages. He has successfully created templates for personal budgets and cash flow tracking for families as well as small businesses.
Mike is certified to Efile both personal and corporate tax returns with the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency), and has completed both a personal and corporate tax filing course each of the last three years.
Meghan Craig
Meghan has taken her eye for beauty, her knowledge of marketing, and her brilliant imagination to create many successful marking campaigns. She has been able to successfully promote many community events including city fairs, school fund raisers, as well as local church events.
She has also helped successful launch new brands and companies into the local market by creating a marketing plan, and managing the implementation of the campaign.
Meghan has recently taken her love for photography and turned it into her own businesses. She continues to support Abaret Group in the marketing division by both preparing the marketing campaign, as well as taking, editing, and publishing the marketing material needed for successful implementation.

RGD Designs are Abaret Groups number one choice for logo creations, letter head design, and anything else relating to graphic design.
RGD Designs have created labels, promotional table talkers, fliers, team apparel and poster signs of multiple size for several businesses in the waterloo region community. Some of the businesses include Shoeless Joe's Restaurant, Linden Valley Salad Dressing, Axcess 33 Skate Shop and Panther Basketball Camp. RGD prides itself on being detail oriented and working with the clients to tailor the design to their specific needs and style.
